| Conclusion | Thus, in European Caucasoids with HuLDi00025, we could not demonstrate a strong association between HLA class II, TNF, and TAP gene polymorphisms and response to interferon treatment.;These findings might help to design preemptive prevention therapy in selected patients at risk.;Although previous work has suggested potential roles for TNF in the pathogenesis of HCV infection, we were unable to identify any link between TNF genetic polymorphisms and histological severity or response to antiviral therapy.Conclusion1 |
